How It Started
Two Contractors.
One Big Problem.
In 2009, Marcus Webb and Dana Kowalski were running a deck-building company in Denver. Every spring, they'd get calls from homeowners whose pressure-treated decks had rotted, splintered, or turned gray after just a few years. They were replacing the same decks over and over.
The composite products on the market at the time looked plastic and felt cheap. So Marcus and Dana spent three years working with material scientists to develop a board that had the grain, warmth, and texture of real hardwood — but with a polymer cap that would never rot, splinter, or fade.
BamDecking launched in 2012. Dealers sold out in the first quarter. BamDecking was born.

After three years of material science R&D, BamDecking hit the market with a four-sided cap and a 25-year warranty. Dealers sold out in the first quarter.

Contractor demand for a matching exterior cladding product led to the launch of BamDecking Siding Panels — same cap technology, purpose-built for vertical installation.
100 Million Pounds Diverted
BamDecking crossed a milestone: 100 million pounds of post-consumer plastic and reclaimed wood fiber kept out of landfills since founding.

Additives
Four-sided co-extruded polymer shell. Blocks moisture, UV, stains, and scratches. This is what gives BamDecking its 25-year fade warranty.
Wood-Fiber Core
Reclaimed sawmill waste and post-industrial wood fiber compressed under heat and pressure. Gives the board its natural weight, warmth, and grain texture.
Recycled Plastic Binder
Post-consumer HDPE film — the same plastic from grocery bags and packaging — binds the core and provides structural rigidity without adding virgin material.
